For speaking engagements, workshops, workplace programs, education programs, Mental Health First Aid training or other services, we may collect information relevant to organising and delivering that service, such as event dates, location, audience size, organisational requirements, participant information and billing details.

If you purchase a service online, payment and transaction information may also be processed by our payment provider.

We may also automatically receive limited technical information when you use our website, such as IP address, browser or device information, pages visited and website interaction data, depending on the technologies enabled on the website.

The Human Impact Project website is an education, speaking and professional learning website. We do not use our general website forms to provide clinical health services or intentionally collect health information through those forms.

Please do not include detailed medical, psychological or other sensitive personal information in a general website enquiry unless it is genuinely necessary for your request.

Information submitted when booking a meeting is processed through Calendly.

We may also receive personal information from an organisation engaging us on your behalf, such as an employer arranging workplace training or a school registering staff for professional learning.

Where practicable, you may browse our public website without identifying yourself.

We collect, hold and use personal information where reasonably necessary to operate The Human Impact Project and provide our services.

Meetings may be conducted using Zoom or by telephone, depending on your preference.

Information provided during an initial enquiry will not automatically add you to a marketing mailing list.

The Human Impact Project delivers Mental Health First Aid training as a licensed instructor of Mental Health First Aid International / Mental Health First Aid Australia (MHFAI).

Where you register for Mental Health First Aid training delivered by The Human Impact Project, some personal information may need to be provided to or collected through MHFAI systems for purposes associated with course enrolment, administration, participation, assessment, attendance, certification and related training requirements.

MHFAI manages information within its own systems in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.

Where Mental Health First Aid training is arranged, funded or coordinated by an employer or other organisation, limited information relating to registration, participation, completion or course administration may also be provided to the organisation where appropriate and permitted.

The Human Impact Project does not control how MHFAI manages information once it has been provided directly to or collected by MHFAI through its systems.

Where online payment is available, The Human Impact Project uses Stripe to securely process payments.

Stripe may collect information required to process a transaction, including contact information, billing details, payment method information and transaction information.

The Human Impact Project does not receive or store your complete credit or debit card number through its website. Payment card information is handled by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's own privacy and security practices.

Initially, online payment functionality may be used primarily for Mental Health First Aid training. Other services may be invoiced separately.

Financial and transaction information may also be retained where reasonably necessary for accounting, taxation, legal and record-keeping purposes.

We use trusted third-party technology and professional service providers to operate our website and business.

• Lovable for website development and infrastructure;
• Supabase for database and website data storage;
• Calendly for meeting scheduling;
• Zoom for online meetings;
• Stripe for payment processing;
• Microsoft 365 for email and business communications;
• Rounded for accounting and business administration; and
• Mental Health First Aid International where information is required for accredited MHFA training.

We may also engage professional advisers or service providers such as accountants, insurers, legal advisers, technology providers and contractors where reasonably necessary to operate the business or provide our services.

We only disclose personal information to service providers where reasonably necessary for the service they provide, where you have authorised the disclosure, or where otherwise permitted or required by law.

Website enquiry information stored in our Supabase database is configured to use an Australian hosting region.

However, not every service used by The Human Impact Project operates solely within Australia.

Some of our technology providers are global businesses and may process, store or access personal information from locations outside Australia when providing their services.

Depending on the provider and service used, overseas processing may include locations such as the United States, Singapore and India, as well as other jurisdictions in which a provider or its authorised subprocessors operate.

This may apply particularly to services such as Calendly, Stripe, Supabase, Lovable and other international technology providers.

Where Australian privacy law applies to an overseas disclosure, we will take reasonable steps as required by law in relation to the handling of personal information by overseas recipients.

Using a service hosted in Australia does not necessarily mean that all technical, account, support or service-related information associated with that provider remains exclusively within Australia.

Although The Human Impact Project works within the education sector, our website and services are marketed to and purchased by adults, schools, organisations and education professionals.

We do not knowingly invite children to submit personal information through our general website forms, payment system or meeting booking system.
